It means a day of liberation and a battle finally won for equality and this is how I feel about the 2 independence days I celebrate. today and Oct. 1 Nigerian independence.

It means free parking all day. (I live downtown and you have to move the car every 2 hours from 9-5) but not today. :)
Also, being with family and watching fireworks. And good food. :)

indepence day is a celebration of us being a country for however many years.it is a day after my b-day, so i used to think when i was younger that the fireworks were from god to me which now i think was really cute!
