May not be funny to some but at a party while making "adult refreshments"(margaritas) me and another person had bought a pack of toys called "bodyparts",a couple of the parts were fingers. Well he put ketchup on a dish towel then put the fingers in the blender added ice-water-a touch oc ketchup turned on and yelled.
When people come into the kichen he was holding the towel(red with ketchup) and the "drink" in the blender was spinning with 2 rubber fingers.
The gasp and looks from the people that came in were priceless.

Well, I don't know if it's exciting, but . . .
I wanted to boil a small bowl of water in my microwave oven to make an eye wash for my cat. I set the timer, and waited. Suddenly, the water exploded! I thought I must have imagined it, but I did hear a "boom," and there was no water left in the cup.
Because I hate mysteries, I went on-line to see if I was nuts, or if the water had actually exploded. This is what I found:
-------
http://www.hoax-slayer.com/microwave-water.html
Excerpt:
"Water superheated in a microwave oven can indeed "blow-up" under certain conditions. That is, the superheated liquid can be explosively ejected from its container and potentially cause injury to a person in close proximity."
-------
Although superheated water generally explodes when the surface is disturbed, the water "blew up" before I touched the container, perhaps because my microwave oven has a turntable.
I learned about superheated water painlessly. Not everyone has been so lucky.

The boiler in my flat has a little man inside it that turns the heating on even when i dont want it to come on. It can be a boiling summers day and he will make the raditors come on, little bastard. Yeah, i think it just needs repairing.
