Carter was an irrelevance as president and is an irrelevence now.If he had whacked the Ayatollahs a-s in 1979 we wouldnt have the problems with Iran we have now.As for Warren Buffet and Bill Gates he would be as well talking to jimmy buffet[its five o clock somewhere]and his garden gate.

I will say there was FAR less corruption under Carter than recent administration, especially the current one. He was not the best but history will be kinder than you think. He is a good man and not stupid. Maybe not as smart as you. He came in at a bad time in history to be President. The economy would have been bad no matter who was in.
In hind sight he should have done what Regan did. Massive government spending (defense), with no regard to the deficit, in order to rev up the economy.
Why does he bother people so? Is it because he has the balls to call gwb a screw up? I guess the truth hurts.

I think he surely knows..and it makes you wonder why the left invests any effort into a failure.. Baptist Sunday School
teacher from the South..he is everything they feel horrible about...but he is one of their own..

but..Carter can blame America for all of the World's problems..just as well as any 8th Grader in this place.

A high school dropout? Please don't insult those who chose to leave school by lumping them in the same class as Carter. He knows the "legacy" of his presidency, nothing but failures (Panama Canal, Iran, Desert One, Kissing the Soviets backsides). When I was in the military, we had a name for people like him, "&*@%house lawyers." They hand out bogus advice, thinking they know it all.

Perhaps when you have become President you can then speak of "what a fool" an ex-President is.
