You should definately try a small size. Also, have you tried lubricating the tampon before inserting?
There are other options other than Tampons that most women have never heard of. I'm a personal fan of "Instead". Instead is a diaphragm like cup that is inserted into the vagina and holds the menses until you use the restroom then the cup is emptied out. You cannot feel it like you can the tampon and sometimes I forget that I'm on my period. Check it out at the site below. Try it, I know you will like it. If you do, spread the word and tell all of your friends too.
Good Luck girlfriend.

maybe you should! she/he might be able to help. but if i were you i would go to a gynocologist instead. Did you try putting your leg up on a toilet or bathtub ledge because that might help. Personally, im 13 and i still dont use tampons that much and it was hard the first couple of times. maybe if you go to a gynocologist she can recomend a better size tampon for you. And also you HAVE TO relax when inserting a tampon, if you dont then its just gonna make it WAY harder! trust me! you'll be all tense and it wont go in right! GOOD LUCK!!! and i really hope that i helped!
p.s. point the tampon toward your lower back!

hi! putting in a tampon shouldn't injury-it could sense uncomfy, regardless of the indisputable fact that it truly is going to possibly no longer injury. do no longer undertaking however-this could in basic terms mean you're actually not putting the tampon properly or which you're making use of a tampon it is too large. try asking a sister or your mum the thank you to do it. If it nevertheless does not artwork, you may't be a tampon woman. Pads are safer-no probability of poisonous ask your self syndrome, and no "it truly is caught" drama. don't sense weird and wonderful-i'm no longer a tampon woman the two. stable success!

You need to be relaxed when you insert it - there's a physiological connection between the vagina and the mouth so if you're gritting your teeth, then your vagina will be tight. Concentrate on relaxing your jaw and let your mouth fall open slightly and your vagina will be more relaxed. Make sure you insert it at least the length of your finger inside you (then wash your hands!) or use application tampons. If this is no help, then you should see your doctor

I would recommend using a smaller tampon, because it could hurt really bad if you use a big one. Until you see your doctor I think you should use pads, it would be a bit easier and there would be no pain.

yes, you should.
I use tampons regularly, so I know for a certain that it should not hurt. When I first started using tampons, I get nervous and it gets difficult to insert it. sometimes, quite impossible, so II would try with a new one.
Nowadays, I am used to it, so I could insert a tampon without much trouble.

Try a smaller size and completely follow the directions on the box. If that doesn't work and it still hurts, then use pads. If you want to see your doctor for it, go right ahead. They're used to questions like that and will be able to help you in any way they can.

Make sure you're doing it right. You can even look at it in a mirror to make sure you are putting it in the right place. There is only one place it will go into correctly. Now make sure you tilt it back a little and not try to shove it straight up. Take your time, relax, and slowly start to push on it. It may help to wet the edge a little bit, that might help it glide up easier. Try playtex sport or tampax pearl, two great easy brands. Goodluck!
