On the lower right side of your screen, right-click on the time. Select "adjust date and time."

If you have windows, place the cursor over the time in the lower right hand corner and the date will display. If it's not correct, double click on it and a calendar will be displayed and you can change it.

On boot, enter your BIOS. You can set the system date there.
