I suspect you're asking about nihilism.

Check out the page on Wikipedia to start

its likely that ur answerers have a lot-to-learn!

But no matter; for they like like you and i are not so ignorant
that we dont want to learn(and i agree with others that the
religious answerer should try again for the appropriate
site-even though not Easy,i know.).

Because the and our universe is .. 1. Extremely hostile to
life, and
2. Is virtually Empty, then

we can initially say that all life has no meaning.
But as nature"abhors-a-vacuum,so we immediately can
say THAT WE CAN GIVE IT MEANING.
i dont here want to talk of religion(and Religion's DUTY and
being that should be absolutly-convicted to PEACE and
its maintainance)or any other meaning(end poverty/search
for true and better knowledge/etc/)or the search for a better
world;for ive continually mentioned this in my answers, inc
the fact that scholars(i am not one)before me are better
able to put all this into words.
So thats my answer for now.

Some would call this nihilism
I would call it fatalism --- I would also call it "crazy" !!

Interesting that the explaination of nihilism is
the belief that there is nothing to believe in
--- kind of oxy-moranic --- huh ??

Are you looking for the word "nihilism"?
I hope that that is not your personal belief. Life's meaning is found in God's Word.
