I guess you missed the special on CNN about the terror problem in London. Most of the Islamic community think the "war on terror" is a war on Islam. Erase their Islamic ties and what do you have? A bunch of crazed murderers which is exactly what they are. By doing this, he is erasing half of the reason there are new terrorist recruits among young Muslims. He is taking away a great deal of their momentum. That should happen in the U.S. as well.

How incredibly stupid. The attacks happened FIRST, and Brown decides to change a few things (assuming you're telling the truth) - so you cannot POSSIBLY blame the fact he's changed the wording of the idea for the attacks.

Please sort out your perception of time before getting out of bed.

It was always a stupid idea to declare a war on terror- you can't actively fight an enemy that does not declare themselves, there is no offensive, only defensive. I very much doubt that Gordon Brown "bends over" for anyone, though it is a hilarious image.

In any case, I have not heard this so please link to a quotation.

apathy is lethal. I guess that's kind of like, maybe if I close my eyes and stick my fingers in my ears they will go away and leave me alone.
