search command and folder options suddenly disappear?

i restarted my pc and found out after i logon to windows XP with my username, i lose my folder option & my search/find command!!! this is real pain and truly horrible! anyone can help me out? TQ

You may have inadvertently disabled the toolbar. Go to the top of the screen. Right-click. Click to enable Menu, Status Bar, Yahoo toolbar.
