I wonder if it will damage her hearing if I take her to see fireworks tonight for the 4th of July.

One of my first memories ever was watching the fireworks at Chinese new year in Hawaii. I was about 3 years old and still remember it at 58. Not only will you not hurt your baby but you might be creating a lifetime memory that puts you in a good light. I still bless my parents for letting me stay up for the first time to look at the sky lighting up for miles.
Go for it;

Well, she won't care about the fireworks except the noise may scare her. It won't necessarily hurt her but I would stay way back since you can still see from a good distance. Keep her cuddled up and let one ear rest on your body and cover the other with your hand. Happy Fourth

It won't hurt her. I have four kids and I can tell you most under 4 years old are scared to death of the sound fireworks make. So would it hurt the child? No..should you take your child, probably not.

The noise will not hurt her hearing anymore than it would yours. Just seat back and don't take a front seat. Remember that the noise might scare her and don't forget the bug repellent

It depends on where you are sitting. If you are a good distance away then it should be fine. She might get scared, that's all.

shouldn't be a problem. i'd use ear plugs though. it won't damage her hearing but it may frighten her.
