If I see people I think I recognize I probably would not call out to them, but I would turn around and walk the other way.

one time when i was like 4 my aunt took me to the aquarium and i ran to one of the displays and i was calling out her name over and over cuz i wanted her to see this fish, and it was so crowded and i couldnt find her! so when i THOUGHT i found her i pulled on her shirt and kept saying c'meer c'meer!! and it was really this like 20 year old girl and her husband! I can remember she looked so freaked out! and then my REAL aunt came and took me away from her. I dont know how i can still remember that, but it happened!! LOL

I met someone who looked very familiar but I couldn't remember where I knew him from, so I stared and stared at him while walking directly towards him only to remember shortly before I was going to say "HI!" that it was someone from a very bad TV show. That was a bit embarassing....

yeah its the funniest thing ever when they look at you like a mental
the best thing to do is keep waving
that way you pass the embarassment straight to them because they will think where do i know him from and most people after being constantly waved at will wave back

I did that once in the past. I was embarrassed when I discovered it wasn't the person I thought it was.
