As nature made him: The boy who was raised as a girl. It's the true story of David Reimer who was brought up female after a botched circumcision left him with no penis. He was a twin so it was like the ultimate nature/nurture experiment. Good book but pretty harrowing. My heart aches for the poor guy, not a happy ending.

Kitty Kelley's "The Family". Good read. The Bushes and the Republicans were so pissed off when she wrote it (even though they never even read it) that they tried to black list her from everything to prevent her from publishing it.
