for the last 40 yrs our volunteer fire dept. has had the firemens bbq its really good so i'll go pick up some for lunch and then bbq for dinner.watch the fireworks from my house. don't want to leave the dogs alone because we're close enough to the county complex that the noise will frighten them. happy 4th

We are smoking meat and making all kinds of different salads and deserts. Friends will come over with more food and drinks as well. Usually we watch the fireworks but this year has been unpredictable with all the rain so I doubt we will catch a good fireworks show.

My sister in law (who lives next door), is having a party for my husband's parents' wedding anniversary and all the July birthdays in our family.
