I think you're talking about the Chevy SSR it came out a few years back and is a retro looking pickup truck with a retractable hard top roof...

The SRR.....now out of production. Big engine, fiftyish styling...two seats. More proof that GM misses the mark in market research. Not really a truck...not a sports car (inspite of a version of the Corvette engine), not cheap enough to sell to a lot of folks, not exclusive enough to be high style.
Lots of misses....and a vehicle that never made much of an impact in the market.

This truck was called the SSR SUPER STREET RODESTER.This truck is no longer made by chevy.Cause the lack of sales.Great truck and fun to drive.Hope this helps.

You may be thinking of the the SUV with the retractable roof. This was limited to the GMC envoy for only a few model years.
