DUH!! Of course NOT!! They are plain pathetic!! Their pitching staff is among the worst in all of baseball, and their high paid prima donnas are not playing as a team or producing as expected. Only Jeter is. The rest could be shipped out and would not at all be missed.

Chow!!

It happened once before during the year known as the Boston Massacre - 1978 - this Wikipedia article mentions when people started to call the Yankees come back by that name http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yankees-Red_Sox_rivalry#1961_-_1980 and at the end of the year people remembering the home run hit by Bucky Dent. However, I don't believe history will repeat itself this year - but you never know.

Good Luck!!!

Possible? Sure. The magic number is only 71. But the pinstripers had better get cracking, and I really don't think Cashman is the man to make deals that will kickstart the 2007 squad. They either wake up and reverse their teamwide craniorectal insertion, or they go home on October 1.

Which is fine with me.
