My husband and I have been "not trying, not preventing" for five months, but this was our first month acknowledging that we were trying to conceive. We had sex three days before ovulation, twice two days before, and the day before. He had to go out of town so we didn't get to have sex on O day or the day after like I would have liked to.

I'm 8 days past ovulation now, and I've been feeling a little queasy at night for the past 3 nights or so. I had some cramping Monday and Tuesday, and now my nips are a little sensitive this morning.

Given our schedule and how I'm feeling right now, does it sound promising to you guys at all?? Thanks for any input!!

My only concern is the amount of intercourse you had. Every other day is optimal and you really shouldn't do it every day or twice a day. It doesn't give his sperm enough time to build back up. However, it is very possible that your hubby has good, strong, healthy, above average sperm and that they made it to the egg.
For the average couple having well-timed sex, the chance of pregnancy is only about 20% each cycle so I would guess those are about your odds too.
Symptoms start after implantation and implantation happens on average 7-12 days past ovulation so there is a slight possibility that if the egg was fertilized and if it implanted very quickly that your symptoms may be from pregnancy.
Good luck with the rest of the 2 week wait and baby dust!

You can only hope. Funny, but it sound like you and I ovulated around the same time. I too have had "weird" signs. All we can do is wait. My husband has demanded me to stop buying HPTs until either my period shows up or the 20th of this month.
It does sound promising. I have had the queasy feelings at night and just my left nip is hurting, the right not as much unless I put more pressure on it.

If you would like we can keep each other informed through this long two week wait... email me. Let me know, and I will give it to you privately.

If you are 8 days past ovulation, you only need to wait 6-7 more days until you can test (accurately)!!! If you don't get a positive answer at first, keep the test out for about an hour and look at it really hard. There may be just a very faint line since it would be early the pregnancy. Good luck and let us know what happens!!!

nothing is really promising when it comes to desiding if you might be pregnant, because pregnancy signs can be taken for pms signs of the other way around, sometimes(happened to me) if you want it so bad... your body will start acting pregnant. baby the baby does not implantation itself into the uterus until 10-12 days past ovulation so im not sure if you could have signs before that

good luck!

It can be a pregnancy or your menstrual cycle. It's too early to say this. Wait a few more weeks and you can try a pregnancy test.

Don't get high hopes in this early stage because you will be disapointed if it is only your cycle. I know I did.

Anyway, good luck!
