I hope those shopper CAN and WILL be prosecuted...if only to have to pay the expense of defending themselves.

It's a shocking story. I don't believe these shoppers can be prosecuted for anything. We don't have "good Samaritan" laws. Why couldn't these people have at least called for help? One cretin actually took a pic of her with a cellphone camera. I can understand people being loath to offer first aid because they have no medical knowledge and don't know what to do but at least get to a freaking phone and call for help.

I was sickened when I read this. I just cannot comprehend how people can do this. It is a very sad day when snacks are more important than human life. I wonder what these shoppers would want to happen if they were the ones lying on the floor.
