Yes, I think most women in general talk too much. I'm quiet and I'm always singled out when we have meetings at work. In fact, some of my male co-workers talk too much.
I recently discovered the (16) personality types. I'm an INTJ. I listen and think more than I talk. I think before I speak. From what I understand, people fear quiet people more than talkative ones. Introverts are quiet while extroverts are talkative.

I spose some do....I'm not a man but yeah some do. But why complain? That is just how it is. Besides if some didn't talk then there would just be silence. But think about it this way...some men talk too LITTLE. I hate how some men won't express their feelings as if it's weak or something. And I am a proud woman who goes on about nonsense...it gives people something to laugh at. :P

this depends on the Lady just like the men. some explain more than others. so this would be hard to answer in general terms. I nicknamed my deceased wife " Squawk A Lot " after the Native American Lady " Talks A Lot " because She used to Squawk A Lot

hi this is auntie rita. uncle elroy says women speak only what needs to be said and we do not go on about random stuff like shoes and shopping and all the other stereotypes and another thing is that cannot find a pair of shoes to go with my new silver dress. do you think white heels would be ok and how is my hair and make up?

Women are social by nature. Often, it isn't necessarily the conversation topic as much as the interaction.
Men aren't this way so we see it as women just like to talk. But it's part of their wanting to connect to others. Men generally talk about nonsense unless it's a question about something the guy doesn't know. So guys are more informative. Women are more relational.

Simple and concise is good. But I don't mind a girl who wants to talk, as long as she has nice things to say. When someone is talkative about everyone else's negative's, then I don't care to hear.

yes! what is it that makes them want to go on and on. It's like they think we actually care about what they are saying. Ladies...keep it simple and short, your man isn't really paying attention.
