I'd have to say American, they have a lot more teams with winning records. They also always seem to win the All Star game too.

2 out of the last 3 WS
6 out of the last 10 WS
and 12 out of the last 20 WS
....or something like that.
but anyways, just look at interleague play. AL teams do FAR better than the NL teams.

As a Dodger fan and NL guy, i prefer the brand of baseball played in the NL.
Results though, speak for themselves. The AL teams have a DH, who is usually one of the higher salaried players. The AL has a significantly better record in interleague play.
