Its toast my dear,just a piece toast. I wouldnt kid you on and raise your hopes. Hopefully they will make them waterproof one day.

Once you get kids - get insurance!
Let the phone dry and see if it works. Checking it will do a thing - it either works or it does not. There is a little sticker inside most phones, which changes color when the phone gets wet - so they will tell you "Your phone got wet!".

probably won't work , but no harm in trying. i sent mine through the washing machine. it killed the phone, but the sim card survived. i was told to try drying it out in fridge. i think the agent said the reason why is removes moisture. i didn't work for me, but hopefully , phone will be okay.

get it check because water can be bad for the phone. water damages the stuff inside the phone

you can try and dry it out but I'm not hopeful...hope you have replacement insurance, need to have if you have children.
