im taking acting classes at john robert powers right now and i was wondering if i would be better off hiring an acting coach and an agent. im going to 2 sit downs with agencies this weekend and was wondering if i should stop JRP and just find a local acting coach to help me with my skills

John Robert Powers, as it is today, is a SCAM.
Many years ago it was the TOP modeling ageny in the USA. Mr. Powers died and apparently his family sold his name to be used on franchises. Greedy family!

BIG SCAM - Run away as fast as you can. They will take your money and you'll have nothing to show for it. JRP is considered an absolute JOKE with the entertainment industry. It will get you nowhere. I can't stress this enough - DO NOT DO IT.

yes it is a very big scam just like caseblancas. i am with an agency and have an acting coach. its very helpful. i would advise you to go down that route
