Would you help your family financially if you won the lottery, even if you were classed as "the black sheep"?

thats a hard question would they help you even if they had won it i would help my family that didnt think of me that way the rest can think what they like about me

I wouldn't run out and do it. Hold off - are you the black sheep but loved? Just considered different? Or are you the black sheep and are attacked? My point is some people will hate/dislike you regardless to what you do. They'll be pleasant while the money is good but, they'll eventually turn on you because they sincerely are hateful. (I have an uncle who dispises my mom - his sister - and told me 6 months ago that I was not his niece - thank God my feelings were not hurt. Mind you, he'll be 70 and they have been feuding like this all their lives). To me, that would be throwing good money after bad and if that's the case, give it too a child that needs surgery, make a donation to Darfur, make a donation to a family that has lost everything to a fire, etc. However, if you're the black sheep because you just choose to go in another direction, letting them know you love them by helping out (starting a scholarship in the family name) would be kind.

I have been helping them financially since migrating to Australia in 1984. I was the "black sheep" because I escaped form communist Bulgaria & my sister was treating me as a traitor & not talking to me untin 1990 - the fall of the communist system in Europe

I am the black sheep of my family but no I wouldn't help them out financially, you can't buy love and friendship.

I am the BLACK SHEEP of my family.Although I never won the lotto,my late husband left an estate.They all came out of the wood work!! I figured,"TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT."I helped my mom put new siding and windows in,helped my sister and one of my aunties...NONE of which were there for my hubby's funeral..GOOD LUCK

blood is thicker than anything in this world.
Unless they had been outrightly nothing but MEAN and EVIL to me throughout my time with them... torturing me in all possible ways...
If not... then I will most gladly help in anyway.
monetary is nothing to me... if I can assist them using the winnings I got why not.
Black sheep or not... do not be so calculative...
It's fate to become family ...

If they branded me as the black sheep, and treated me badly, and then as soon as i had some cash they were creeping, hell no i would not..
but my family arent like that so of course i would help them out! £1mil to my siblings, £2mil to my mum

Yes, unless I felt I was being pressured or manipulated into it. I do it now and I didn't win any lottery. it's only money.
