Generally I cry out for help. It's the whole bug guts stuck to my shoe that gets to me!

I have chickens, so very few roaches , or anything else crosses their path. One had a small snake the other day ! Years ago out of boredom, at work, some of us "youngsters" put a roach in the microwave to see what would happen. Nothing happened ! 3 days later, we saw a HUGE roach on the front window.....and we came to the conclusion that it was the roach we zapped !

I lived in S.Carolina for a few years and the roaches down there were unbelievable. But I found this stuff called Boric Acid...it's a white powder, kinda like baby powder...and I sprinkled it all around my baseboards, under the 'frige, etc. and I kid you not I never saw another roach in my apartment after that. My neighbors still had them terrible...I don't think the stuff even kills them, they just don't wanna be anywhere near it.

I live up north so I don't have that worry. First and only time in my life I encountered cockroaches was when I lived in Kentucky-OMG, I freaked out!!! The world doesn't have enough Boric Acid or Tupperware to keep me there so I came back "home"

I have never seen a cockroach in real life.
so if I did I would probably cry and get someone else to kill it for me.

Little baby sesame seed sized ones get the thumb treatment. Bigger ones get smushed w/a paper towel.

I just grab them with a piece of kitchen paper and squash them, then chuck it in the dustbin.
