And have absolutely no idea why. I just thought I could make something out of them, you know, embrace my creative side. I was thinking about making one of those whirlygig thingys, but I'm not sure what I want to make anymore. I know this is probably been an issue with millions over the years that have saved popsicle sticks (and I'm talking the original popsicle here, not that it matters), but I wanted to see if anybody here had any good answers before checking an arts and crafts website. After all, you folks might have something truly creative (and when I say creative, I mean not a bridge or what I suggested, which is pretty common as an answer) answers! Be creative, and be appropriate. In other words, don't suggest a statue of George Bush or Bob Barker, or a giant penice. Besides, I want something that requires little to no cutting sticks in the first place, since I'm not that good at that kinda thing and they're hard to cut. And aren't they kind of hard to cut? Be creative, please!!

I had to answer this because a few years ago, my son made a house out of Popsicle-sticks.
He wouldn't let me know what he was doing, but when he finished, it Looked so real. Even had a garage, porch, etc...
And there was no cutting, (he said that messes it up).
It only took him 3 days (because of working), otherwise he would have had it done in one day!

A birdhouse was always a fun craft to make. It didn't take cutting down the popsicle sticks and it made a neat craft. Just a little thought. Have fun.

What a great way to recycle!

You could glue them on a old lampshade - it would be truly unique..

You could glue them around a tin can for a pencil holder...

If you are religious, you could make a really cool cross

I have seen them used as a trivets -

plant identifiers in the garden

I have seen the bird houses, they are neat too

OR if all else fails, you could donate them to a local boy/girl scouts or 4H club - they would put them to good use!

Good luck with your quest!

if you have a job that involves business cards you could make a business card holder. I did that in first grade for Father's Day. or you could make a cabin out of sticks it would tak a while but it would look really nice once finished.
