The reason that the media are trying to ignore it is because the media is owned by GW's neo-con buddies. Why isn't something being urgently arranged for their impeachement?
Clinton was crucified over a cigar! This lot have lied to the people, too, and cost thousands of lives in the military and the people sit there with a dumb look on their faces and do nothing. The citizens need to march on the White House and demand that George pack his bags and piss off!
Wake up, people! Get motivated and DO something to get rid of these liers and scam merchants.

I wish it were possible. Bush/Cheney have certainly made a mess of America. Global opinion is just starting to recover now due to the hope in the upcoming election. Obama or Hillary would certainly improve our standing and influence among the rest of the world (although it is debatable how effective either would be). McCain might have a beneficial effect as well but I am less certain of that. It depends if the rest of the world sees McCain as a Bush clone or not. Bush/Cheney have hundreds of lawyers working for them so I would see it as next to impossible to charge them with a crime within the next 6 months. Unless they are hiding something highly illegal that is suddenly made public. The gutless Democratic congress can't squeeze bills through without a Bush veto so they won't have enough support to attempt an impeachment. Especially since Bush/Cheney have not been charged with a crime. Let's look forward to the next president and hope the current one can leave without doing too much more damage.

Palosi said it is not going to happen, also she has admitted there was no law broken. So you can't impeach over hatred or opinion. The Impeachment movement is "soundbites" to inflame people just like you who don't go beyond the surface of an issue. Also it is fanned by insignificant town councils in Vermont that are just bored councilors passing meaningless referendums to garner attention. The media ignores it for it is not going to happen, but will cover the circus the uninformed create.
Just read Jackies response, another who doesn't know the issue or the Geneva convention.... Guess what all the Democrates voted on the war and 15 countries provided and supported the intell, so the lie thing is just a talking point.

While I realize Bush only has a year and a half left in office, I despise the thought that this administration is simply getting away with all the abuses of power and fear that if something isn't done about it now, these abuses will continue into future administrations because the precedents have been set and left to stand as they are uncontested. I believe charges should be filed.

Yeah the list of supporters grows.
For those of you not reading the news and thinking there's no high crime or misdemeanor here's the list;

I just wonder why people think that sending us to war on a lie is not a crime? That not following the Geneva convention is not a crime? That selling out America and overriding congress is not a crime? That disregarding the will of legal American voters is not a crime?
O K so not following the Geneva convention isn't a crime , but it was what separated us from the despicable like Hitler.

I vote no. Everything they did that is so horrible was approved by an almost equally partisan congress. Likewise, it won't happen because there will be a new president soon enough.

Before you can impeach a public official, they have to commit a felony. Until someone can come up with charges (and make no mistake about it, if the loopy left could, they would have by now) there can be no impeachment. The idiots on the left just don't get it that you can't impeach someone just because you don't agree with them. that's totalitarianism.
