Is that a good summary of how environmentalists forced us to warm the globe by burning coal and natural gas. They wouldn't let us build nuclear plants. But, now many greenies want us to build nuclear plants.

Go figure.

Are you aware of the nuclear waste problem?

Nuclear waste with extremely long half-lives has to be stored underground in chambers that will surely decay before the waste does. I'm still against nuclear power until the waste problem can be solved.

LOL at KAVE below saying DDT isn't harmful. Are you from the Dick Cheney school of environmental science? Not only is it harmful (just google DDT) but it's not even effective in stopping malaria. Most species of mosquito are resistant to it!

You are correct.

What's your solution? Obviously, natural resources are limited (including Uranium).

What should we do to power the cars, the computers, the lights, the fridges, of 6 billion people?

Quickly, this needs to be done within 20 years. While natural resources will last longer...they won't last much longer than another 100 years (if that).

And if the whole planet goes off the grid? Wow. That would be the largest catastrophe you could imagine, except for maybe an asteroid hit.

People didn't understand about global warming then. And I think you'll find many environmentalists would have pushed for renewable sources rather than fossil fuel.

Yes, that's great.

You could also add - After killing millions in Africa with malaria after banning DDT, Environmentalists now want to save Africa from HIV/AIDS.

Little do they know that malaria is still the number one killer in Africa and DDT is the only real means to eliminate it. But the greenies still believe the myth that DDT is harmful, even though study after study has proven that it isn't.

Morons....
