You have to set up an avatar (http://avatars.yahoo.com/). Then go to your Answers profile page, under Edit My Info, and select the option to display your avatar.

Your avatar is an option on your profile. Go to "Edit Profile" and Edit Avatar to create one. Or find an image you want to use, anything, save it, use it as a primary on you 360, and check use my 360 picture.
