Continious Injection Systems, CIS for short VW audi Porsche In service manuals called the system K-Jet tronic. Those steel sandwitched micro machined with lazer beam fuel system " fuel distrubutor" can be very expensive. Fuel distributor and fuel regulator assemblys cannot stand open to the air corrosion and any dirt can wipe out the even spary into the four injectors. And late model had electronics for o2 sensors built on the side. In my experence the only good CIS fuel system part to interchange is one you have seen running on the donnor car. You did not state what your car is doing with the current part on it. Dont forget the O ring under it.
