A friend of mine used to work as a bartender at an ocean liner called "Star Pisces". It's a floating casino that travels from Hong Kong to Singapore & vice-versa. There's not much recreation for the crew once the ship is in the middle of the sea. The only way they unwind is when the ship docks at either country. They have 2 days before it sails again. They make the most of it. ;-)
