Dvblinia is great- it's the viking exhibition in christ church cathedral, dublin zoo is a must, the dublin ghost tour is great but , you need good weather because it's a hop on -hop off bus tour...phoenix park is great too, stay away from the guinness brewery, what would an 11 year old girl like about a brewery??
bring her to grafton street for the shopping, and at weekends it has lots of street performers
the viking splash tour is great fun for kids too, it's a boat that drives around the city and then drives into the river liffey for the second half of the tour..,
bring her to see the book of kells in trinity college, for a look at some really old Irish history
hope you have a great time here, especially your daughter

Dvlinia is one of the top family attractions in dublin. It is located near Christ Church. There is also the hop on hop off bus that shows the sites. It's very entertaining. The Phoenix Park has Dublin Zoo in it. Depending on her interests there are lots of museums and art galleries like in every city. Night time entertainment could include a trip to the theatre for you all. Look at the following website and you may get more ideas. Temple Bar is very vibrant at night and day but is noisy and more for adults. Have a nice time. Hope you will like it here.

National History Museum
Dublinia Exhibition (Dublin in viking times with actors interacting with visitors).
Viking Splash Tour is great. Drive around old Dublin in a big lorry the shape of a Viking Longship which then drives into the water for a tour of the Grand Canal Docklands.
Collins Barracks. Part of the National Museum which holds special exhibitions.
Stephen's Green to feed the ducks
Dublin Zoo, (recent births include an elephant and a giraffe)
Also try Tourist Board Office in O'Connell St. for up-to-date listings of entertainment.

Things for kids in Dublin at night? Well, there's the cinema, and you could find out about shows via What's On.
You can bring a child into a pub, but they have to leave at 9pm.
