The truth may come out eventually, but not from Gerry and no one, at the moment, has the guts to ask him any awkward questions.

If this whole saga had been invented by Endemol to gain revenge on the British public for protesting about Jade Goody on BB, they would have played it exactly like this.
Gerry appearing at the MediaGuardian Edinburgh Television Festival would be the final surrealist moment - he would be feted like a god, the phone lines would crash, the venue would be picketed, temperatures would rise and then, at the point of greatest impact, Madeleine would be brought onto the stage by Davina McCall.
The TV experiment would then be considered a roaring success, a defining moment of popular culture akin to Orson Welles's War of the Worlds radio scam in the 30s.

Except it's all actually true. Jimmy Savile. Konnie Huq. Cat Deeley. But no Madeleine.

It's genuinely INCREDIBLE. And unspeakably sad.

And you've learned the truth from where? Yahoo Answers? I don't think so.

I look forward to seeing you identify yourself in front of the "crowds of people" demonstrating. Let's just say, though, that I'll believe it when I see it.

Great one Plato!
ANDhow heDREW these vague conclusions beats me too!
Won't the "organised crowd of people demonstating" be reminiscent of the mob frenzy that got poor Joan of Arc at the stake? When will we learn from our mistakes...
Not that the McCanns are Saints (am sure someone will jump on me for that!)...i'm speaking of the wild eyed mob fury that is building up that reeks of base uncivilised witchhunts.

don't think our media will ask any difficult questions, they are too damn scared of losing their jobs!

Would love to see Gerry and Kate's reaction if they are asked probing questions though, especially as to where all the money is going that has been donated to their cause!!!!!
