how do i make my compaq presario battery last longer?

when using my compaq presario computer using only battery power i can only use the computer for approximately 15 min. before i get a low battery alert and the computer goes into hibernation. is there a way to refresh the battery to have more time using only battery power?

Sounds like you need a new battery. Batteries only have a limited life cycle.

you will have to buy yourself a new battery it's about 90% dead if you only have 15 minutes of use time
