Both travelling at, say, 25 mph?
Clearly the Mini would hurt less and do less damage, but getting hit by the ambulance, whilst a lot weightier, would mean paramedics were immediately on the scene...

Depends on whether the ambulance was one with a paramedic or not. If it has a paramedic then definitely the mini as apparently you have more chance of surviving if you are not attended by a paramedic. Also, if hit by the ambulance there is probably a good chance of making some money out of it which would appeal to a lot of people.

Ambulance...because ther would already be paramedics or EMTs there. I would rather get really hurt by a huge ambulance and have imediate help then have to lie on the ground waiting for an ambulance to show up (I work on ambulance, so I know they don't always get there quickly).

I'd rather get hit by a Mini...
More than likely, the paramedics are going to be a bit too shook up (and possibly injured) to treat me.
I drive a Mazda Miata...if an ambulance crashed into me, it'd decimate my care (and me).
At least a Mini Cooper is an equal opponent. :)

If I had any strength left after being hit by the ambulance, I'd want to KILL the bastard driver who ran me over, if the MINI hit me, well, hey;.. not much I could do, except probably bash him about a bit so HE'D need the ambulance as well as me. :D
