Lennon and McCartney were a musical collaboration within the Beatles that both individually and together produced some of the greatest and most memorable rock music the modern world has ever heard. They were creative geniuses in their own right and both of them publicly acknowledged the prodigious talents of the other, as well as those of George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
