Mammary duct ectasia. Mammary duct ectasia is one of the most common causes of abnormal nipple discharge. One or more of the ducts beneath your nipple becomes inflamed and clogged with a thick, sticky, green or black substance. Most often, mammary duct ectasia affects women in their 40s and 50s. You can relieve some of your symptoms by applying warm compresses to your breast. Taking aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen, may help relieve some symptoms. Also, your doctor may prescribe antibiotics to clear up any infection. In some cases, surgery might be necessary to remove the affected duct.
***My suggestion is to make an appointment with your physician to find out for sure.
Best of luck to you!

North,
I squeeze my nipples every so often - as instructed by my OB - and I sometimes get a clear or white substance. Almost like I'm milking. I was told that THAT'S NORMAL! I was informed that if the substance smells, gets darker, or becomes sticky/hard, then consult my OB to get tested for any bacterial infection or cancer polyps.
I recommend you contact your OB/primary care physician. Good Luck :-)

nipple discretions are perfectly normal in women especially if you squeeze them, green and black may indicate an infection but the black may only be sebum the skins natural oil.
but just to be on the safe side you should get it checked out by ur local doctor

Perfectly normal, if you squeeze and get blood- not good, if you are really concerned ask ur Dr. if you have pain when not squeezing, and then you have discharge of yellow / green out of your nipples, then be concerned.
