The 4th is the 4th. It should be celebrated on that day, with the exception of it falling on a Saturday or Sunday then it is okay to celebrated it on the day before or after the holiday. If the Holiday falls on a weekday celebrate it on the weekday.
I have a suggestion lets move Christmas, New Years Day and Thanksgiving to a Friday or Monday. It would make things so much easier. While we are at it lets move Veterans day to a Friday or Monday too.
We should forget the significance of these days and make it easier for us Americans. We Americans deserve to have these days attached to a weekend to make it a three day one. There is nothing more American than to be able to go out and get drunk to celebrate these special days

Happy 4 Th! Yea they should move it to Monday or Friday like they do memorial day.But what if they did that for Xmas and made labor day on the weekend.Or Easter on a Monday.
Its because everybody identifies The 4Th on the 4th.
