I took today off as I genuinely do feel rough with the flu, So I phoned in to work etc and the secretary told my boss she said "xxxxx has the flu and wont be in" my boss said "I'm sure he does" but anyway I got fed up and went to look something for the flu but needed to go to the bank to get money, my card wouldn't work so had to go into the branch, there I was getting my money when who comes in behind me only my boss "Hello Mr XXXX" he said I don't think he was to happy and now I'm dreading tomorrow, I mean I am genuinely sick, its not a sackable offence is it?? I mean of all the bloody people I had to run into

Nah mate, you will be alright. If you were genuinely sick then there is no problem. There is no reason why you can't go to the bank to get money to buy yourself medication.

That's gotta hurt! lmao! Ok, look, I think pulling a sickie is a classic thing to do, but getting caught - BY YOUR BOSS!! OMG that's soo funny! That'll teach ya! :D hehehe. Good one! :P

I see it this way...
If you are so sick that you cant go to school/work
then you have no right leaving your house that day unless it is for food...

you got caught in the act... and should be fired...
