Yep, I remember them in the playoffs then and losing to a team on the rise.....the Cowboys, who went on to lose in the playoffs that year but win 3 out of the next 4 Super Bowls.
That's been one of the few bright spots for the Lions franchise, ever.....outside of Barry Sanders' individual success.

Wayne Fontes was the coach, Erik Kramer was the QB. The only reason they made it far though was because of RB Barry Sanders!

Rodney Peete and Erik Kramer were both QBs for the Lions during that time...Wayne Fontes was Head Coach...and they have sucked since he left...
