smoking and IUD has no connection.
but as others have said, you do increase the risk of lung cancer. not cool.

I have had my IUD for the last three and a half years and love it. I don't have the cramping others seem to experience. And my periods are only a couple of days every other month or so. They are so light i just use a pantie liner because i don't need a tampon. So I would say go for it! I like that there is no chemicals. Hope this helps.

Yeah it should be.. usually your doctor will ask if you smoke. i have had the implant put in, but mines the one in my arm, and its fine for me to smoke. as i do. pick up a leaflet, or go and talk to a nurse, just to make sure. good luck :] x

Do you mean vaginally? I think the IUD would stop the smoke getting anywhere and you would still get cravings.
