..it is falling..the ruling upper-echelon has already lost touch with the rest of the world..this goes for both entities in
the 2 party system

the majority of us only speak English as a language..when
our borders are a sieve..affording a dilution of the culture.

we have an over-inflated sense of self-importance..we involve ourselves in fandangos..when we cannot manage
our own domain.

greed extends to the capitalist and the federalist alike..
patronage nepotism and favor..lower the output and quality
of most endeavors..

while all along thresholds are arbitrarily set..with questions like.."Are We Coming Upon the End of the Information Age?"

we can't depend on the masses to find the resolve it takes
to have the urgency or impetus to search for solutions

industries have been outsourced..complacence comes from
being given more channels to choose from on Cable

if this doesn't mirror Rome as a Civilization...it's because

Fox or CNN has discussed the idea yet
so it probably hasn't entered the lexicon..

We all know America will fall???? well, thank you for speaking for every American but i don't know that America will fall. and if there is an exception to the rise and fall rule, America IS IT. there is no scenario i can think of that would precipitate such a fall..perhaps a master race of 15 foot tall aliens from another planet with advance technology is up to the job, but they may not even exist. nope, i don't know America will fall, i know she'll change, some for the better, some for the worse, but that's why we have elections and a congress that isn't shy about reforming how America is run but she will remain standing. Don't you just love this country?

How do we know this? Just because all previous great powers have fallen, why should it be certain that the United States will fall?

We could actually learn cooperation and bring other Nations together [willingly] in the America union.

We can study the past so it doesn't repeat itself.

"We all know"?
Thanks for speaking for the rest of us.

As far as nations falling, It usually involves forcing it's citizens with threat of death or imprisonment if they do not toe the line in doing what their government makes them do. Unchecked high tax rates are a good example. Seems that was one of the reasons we fought England so we could celebrate what we will celebrate today.
Oh yeah, those high tax rates are the mantra of the Democratic party. So if the fall happens, blame them.
Failure always comes from within.

It will only happen if we, the voters, allow it to by remaining complacent and not speaking out. Look at what happened when the immigration bill was up for vote (several times). America spoke out. The problem is, we don't speak out enough.

Each of us should have a list of things compiled that are meaningful and important to us and we should be bombarding our representatives with those lists. We don't do that.

We should be voting people OUT of office who don't serve out best interests. When is the last time you've checked out voting records of your representatives? Most of us never bother to do that. :)

It's our own laziness and complacency that will end up getting us. Watch and see. As much yelling as we do, we'll end up with the same corrupt people in office.

I do not know this, nor do any of my friends and acquaintances.

There are a few things I believe. If our nation continues to move towards socialism we will fall.

If we do not rid Congress of careerists there is a good chance it will fall.

But AMericans are for the most part very optimistic capitalists, and that is almost always a formula for success.

America is an exception. We will fight anyone who tries to take us down. Americans eat gunpowder for breakfast, and other nations will find out the hard way if they bring war to these shores. Want your country annihilated? Come take us on!

I don't know if America will fall or not. I hope not. America is a wonderful country and today is July 4th. Happy Birthday America!

Do you want America to fall and if so, which country would you like to take her place?
