If you want to run games avoid choice #2

AMD makes great processors and there is not that much heat from them especially in the mobile processors market.

If I had to choose between the two I would not even consider the intel over the AMD/ATI set up.

The Graphics capability of the ATI chipset alone makes the first choice the better choice. Stronger Graphics performance and more RAM,

Both are very nice laptops, however you said you want to play games. I would have to go with the 1st one. The ATI radeon chipset is stronger choice for video gaming than the Intel's 945. FIFA 07 and others would probably run okay on the 2nd choice, it might have some latency due to the chipset and not to mention the memory. I would look at possibly maxxing out your memory if your budget allows. There's probably not much you can do with the cache, more likely it's built on to the motherboard. The Intel processor would actually get hotter since it's running faster per clock cycles than the AMD, you should have no worries there. If your still concerned about overheating invest in a laptop cooling fan mat. You can pick these up pretty much any where where computers are sold. There about 20 bucks.

I prefer the 2 mb cache on gaming pc's.
I feel "safer" with Intel chips.

BUT: check the hard drive specs. They should be 7200 rpm to run games. And look at their cache. Should be 8mb or more. Don't get stuck with a slow hard drive!

2 to 3 gb ram is a must if running Vista.

If you are into Serious Gaming go with a Desktop instead of the Laptop.

You cant sit long hours on laptops and play games.

If you still insist on a Laptop go with the AMD one. Heat issues are fixed long back and now they are better than intel interms of Heat.

"din, der, frein, wen," ? I suggest you hold a dictionary between your knees while sitting instead of the mentioned activity. As to your problem; take one of those OTC pregnancy tests to put your mind at ease. From now on use protection. Abortion and child birth are not forms of birth control.
