i hate it when i find out that i am wrong about something that i so strongly believed in was correct.....

I spoke to someone last night who told me that Nicolas Cage's name was spelled 'Nicholas.' I knew it wasn't. I was right.

?One of the marks of maturity is being able to accept humility and understanding that we don't know all the answers. That's why we have questions. The answer is in how do we handle being wrong? Do you admit your mistake, learn from it and correct yourself or do you have a tantrum and continue to make similar mistakes? No, I don't like 'being wrong' but to continue to believe and act wrong after learning about the mistake is compounding the error.

Yeah, I hate that too. You just "know" you are right and then you calm down and slowly come to terms with reality...

Yeah, temporarily, but I get over it right away. It's better to be happy to learn something new than to dwell on what you didn't know (you could've been misinformed!).

at first i hate it. but then i get all excited that now i'm wiser than i was before. but then i hate that i was less wise before. hmmm. it would be nice if i didn't hate it i guess. hate hate hate.
