Something about the Brewer's ownership has always rubbed me the wrong way.

I think this race will go down until September. These two teams are playing some very good ball. I haven't seen the Cubs play like an actual team since 2003. Go Cubs GO!

The Cubs will over take the Brewers by late July. Hell.....they are only 5.5 games back right now. The Cubs OWN the Brewers this year. Although they are something like 7-5, they have taken 3 outta 4 series with them this year (both in Milwaukee and 1 in Chicago) All you need is a team to take two outta three from the Brewers and the Cubs to sweep some unsuspecting club and BOOM!!!.....there goes the NL Central lead! 5.5 games aint that hard to overcome.

I don't think the Cubs will overtake the Brewers, though that's coming from a Brewers fan.

Maybe you didn't like the ownership when Bud Selig ownder the team. I don't know too much about the new owners, just that they're actually willing to pump money into the team.

I'm waiting to see what happens when the Cubs cool down. They won't be this hot too long, and eventually they will come back down. When they do, we'll have a better idea of how the race will shape up.

It is still too early to tell. Brewers have been really good and longer than the Cubs have been lately. I am not sure the Cubs will be able to. I will just have to watch and see how those two teams play within the next month to know if the Cubs can over take the Brewers. As a Cub fan myself I am always waiting for the other shoe to drop so I am not saying they can do it. I am not the delusional Cub fan I used to be.

The Cub will catch up by Christmas, over take the Brewers by January 14th, and will be the ONLY team in the World Series of February, 2008.

It depends on how many of the Cubs upcoming games are against teams in the division, the NL Central is pathetic.

Next April, at the beginning of the season. I think the Cubbies might have a better start than the Brew Crew and overtake them in the central... not happening this year.

They won't. The Brewers' ownership annoys you. How about the annual blow up of the Cubs of whom much is expected? This year will be no exception. IF they get in to contention, they will typically blow the opportunity to win.

Chow!!
