For 4 months while my mom was pregnant they called me Amanda. When I was born my mom said I didnt look like an Amanda and I was a Kirsten.. So that's the name I got and have had for over 17 years! lol
But my ex's lil brother was born Seth Daniel Johnson, and is now Hobie Seth Daniel Johnson. Hobie was a nickname and now the school calls him Hobie, everyone does! But his birth certificate still says Seth. Most people dont even know Hobie isnt his real name! lol

No, I have the same name, but 10 years ago I found out that I was born on another day. I've alway used 7 Dec. for my birth, but when I went for a Pass Port I was told I was born on the 10th of Dec. I haven't gotten that straighten yet.

The name my mum wanted to give me at birth, the midwife suggested a more appropriate name for me, still the same but more of a child's name rather than an adult name at birth.

My full first name is Christina. Everyone called me Tina when I was a little girl. I HATED IT! I switched to Chris when I was 11. The rest, as they say, is history.

I'm with your mom on that one! If my parents or anyone changed my name I was too young to know about it. I wish to heck they had. Parents should put a little more consideration in what moniker they hang on a kid!

My Mom was gonna name me Sabrina when she was still pregnant but then when I was born, she decided to name me Angela. She also thought about naming me Darlene but that is now my middle name.
