I have used nero, and it is very good, but I personally like Alchol 120% more.
You can't rip music from CDs or video from DVDs to my knowledge. It makes perfect copies of disks though. It's great if you want to make images of your games on a hard drive and use Daemon Tools or it's know virtual drive to mount the images.
