First, u have my sympathies. 2nd apply for any unemployment benefits you have coming -- u just don't know the future of the next few weeks. 3rd, it IS depressing and that mental state can drag u further down -- stay motivated, set the alarm clock and obey the usual rising time to involve yourself with locating a new job. I, myself, am only angry we live in the times when the company/worker relationship is viewed as consumerism, good capitalism only, souless.

When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade.

It sucks but it will get better. Start taking some action. Get the book "What Color Is Your Parachute" from the library to learn about how to get another job. This might be the time to evaluate what you do and consider a change or more education. It might even be an opportunity to find something better. Take heart! Tough times never last, but tough people do.
