I suppose it depends on how allergic she is. But also, it makes no real difference on how long they are there - an afternoon in the cat's company will be just as bad as a night.
There's a communication problem here, and lots of underlying issues. They need to be sorted out.
For the kid's sake.
Sorry, I read this wrong. I thought you meant "overnight".
Actually, if this is a serious issue, I'd get rid of the cat.

Make sure they shower and put fresh clothes on before they go home. The cat dander and hair they may bring home on themselves probably triggers asthma attack for mom.
I am allergic to cats and my ex has one- if he doesn't get a chance to have the kids cleaned up when I pick them up he lets me know so they can shower, change and throw their clothes in the wash as soon as we get home.

Mommy should not be so possesive, Your excuse is you want the kids to yourself not your asthma. Simple fix to your problem, wash their clothes and make them shower when they get home, that gets all the cat dander off
