Scared about highschool! (please respond)?

Question

I am going into 9th grade... (highschool), and i DO NOT know what to expect!!! Can you please share advise and opinions??

well ill be a senior next year so this is what i got to say

-keep your friends close
-Try not to make enemies cause they will get u in the end
-Live your life without regrets
-Be yourself and dont try to be someone your not for someone else
-If you have people trying to put u down, dont listen to them and dont let them put you down.
-If people tease you, show no signs of cracking. If they see that the teasing bothers you, it will continue. If they see it has not effect, then they will stop.

Stick with this and you should be fine.

The most important thing I learned is this: everyone is so concerned about the zit on their nose that they don't notice the zit on your nose. In other words, be yourself and know that everyone else feels pretty much the same things. Also, frankly, the most useful classes I took at that age were the theatre/acting classes. They helped me learn how to speak and how to listen. I still use those skills today, all the time. Another thing: for every hour you're in class, expect to spend about half an hour in homework every night. Learning study skills will really help you a lot. I suggest reading, "Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens" for more help.

it's not as bad as u've heard ppl say. jus lemme tell u one thing...stay out of the drama. trust, u dont wanna be up in all of that. and make sure u stay on top of ur grades, cuz freshman year is the year u dont wanna mess up. those grades will come bak n hunt ya. well 4 years, its gonna go by fast, im already about to be a junior. but h.s. is gonna be fun ;)
