In no particular order...
The Oklahoma Sooners team that won 47 straight (NCAA)
The San Francisco 49ers of the 80s (NFL)
The Pittsburgh Steelers of the 70s (NFL)
The Green Bay Packers of the 60s (NFL)
The New England Patriots of the 2000s (NFL)
There are several other pro teams that were impressive, but gosh golly, you gotta respect 47 straight wins in NCAA play... and I'm a SEC fan, not a big 12 fan... :)
I did not pick my Redskins because all 3 Redskins SB winners were different teams. They did not have the same basic nucleus of players for each SB like the listed teams did. I would rate the Redskins 82-91 in the top ten though :)

NFL would be as follows.
1. 49ers
2. steelers
3. patriots
4. cowboys
5. bills
(to get to 4 straight super bowls in a row, they belong here.) tell me another team that has done this, & the first should have been a win. giants with the last second kick. that hurts.
NCAA
1. oklahome Sooners
2. USC Trojins (i hate this pick)
3. Notre Dame (this hurts also)
4. Texas LongHorns
5. Virginia Tech (just because i live 35 minutes away & because i've been a fan for 25 years)
6. Miami Hurricans (now you see why i picked my HOKIES to be in 5th)
7. Florida State ( even more of a reason to pick VT in front of them)

That question can't be answered because the rules have changed so much through the years. The game today is nothing like the violent game the 70's Steelers used to play.
