Actually if her 2nd glucose test comes back high, it may not just be her hormones. Having high blood sugar or gestational diabetes can also affect a persons mood! That may be the case, or it just might be the hormones. The mood will not hurt the baby at all. Hopefully she will cheer up when the baby is born... and until then you will just have to put up with her.
Beleive me, I know what it's like to be pregnant, and to put up with a crazy pregnant person! It's a pain (both being pregnant, and being around the cranky one), but that little baby will be worth every second!

All you can do is be supportive and know that it will pass if it is hormonal. I hate to say it but i was the same way, my own family could not stand me , and i am a nice person. But i was always cranky and mean. I was always being told "hurry up and have that baby because we cant stand you." I was a different person , it was so weird. But once i had my baby , i was back to normal. Dont take her behavior personal. and dont try and cheer her up. Just be a friend and hope for a healthy baby. Her moods should not be a factor in the babys health. Good luck and you are a good friend, it shows in your concern.

Not her bad moods, per se, but her stress level can harm the baby a bit, only because it harms her, and she is the provider for the baby. Some people just don't like being pregnant, myself included, so all you can do is let her talk (or yell) because being pregnant is hard work!! Not to mention it last almost a YEAR!!! In the last weeks, you can offer to do whatever it is she wants to do, eat out, whatever. She will be feeling the worst physically at this time, so whatever she needs. For leg cramps in the middle of the night, tell her to get up and walk or run immediately to get them to go away; sitting still only worsens them. Toward the end, offer to do with her or help her with whatever method she wants to try regarding inducing labor. Walking, nipple stimulation, and sex (with orgasm) are all good labor inducers

Hormones are normal maybe try taking her to a day at a spa or just a relaxing activity like swimming, movie. If she is stressed it is going to put some stress on the baby. That is what they told me when I was pregnant. You just need to help her relax. Right now she is trying to get everything in order which is normal.

Just comfort her, her body is going through changes that she might not be happy with, I see this a lot. She needs support from friends and family and she may need to ask her ob gyn for coping techniques to better assist her. She wont harm the baby with her mood swings.

her bad moods will only raise the BP and it will only harm the baby if she inflicts harm on it. just listen to her and comfort her that's all you can do
