Can you really build a secret military base under an inactive valcano?

Can you really build a secret military base under an inactive* valcano and use the dome of valcano as a landing for a helicopter or used as for launching a rocket with a contracting roof for camoflage?

At least you seem to think it is possible and unless some one comes up with some real good reasons why it is not possible, I would say yes.

If the volcano decides to wake up, may be they will have enough warning to evacuate the people.

if someone does, then its gonna get mighty warm in there.. coz even inactive volcanos are pretty hot in their cores...
